Learning Objectives: At the end of this activity, participants should be able to identify three key members for their controlled substance diversion prevention committee, report metrics to measure compliance improvements in identified gaps, and describe potential challenges associated with implementing a controlled substance diversion prevention committee.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this activity, participants should be able to describe patient safety issues as well as the incidence and cost of patient harm, explain how medication dispense and administration practice issues can result in errors and potential patient harm, and review methods to detect safety issues as well as educate our teams.

Case Review: Pairing Analytics with Available Tools to Build a Comprehensive Case 

Learning Objectives: At the end of this activity, participants should be able to identify automated tools available for drug diversion monitoring, understand components of a comprehensive case and how to pair multiple investigative tools, and review one facility’s diversion investigation process from initiation to completion.
